Default Longtubes?

lq4 6.0 .Right know i have shorties with 222 cam, true duals into xpipe muffler dumped before axle. Would i see any gains going longtubes? also theres emmissions here so i was thinking of having 2 exhaust setups for smog.

Yeah, you'll see a difference with LT's.

is it worth the $500+? what are the normal gains with lt's, anybody with dyno numbers b & after?

Mine should be installed tomorrow on 6.0. My stock 4.8L exhaust looks like GARBAGE...super restrictive.

I saw a 10hp gain but more importantly I saw a track time improvement and with the continuing modifications made, only LT's would support. That is it's not always the gains from a single mod like LT's that make the world of difference but rather the sum of all the mods and how they behave together. I seriously don't think I'd be running what I do without any of the mods I've done.

i was looking at the pacesetters and y pipe $519 shipped from TSP. any other place to get them cheaper?

+1, your cam will enjoy being able to breathe. I'm getting some LT's as well when I get the $$, but look at getting the uncoated pacesetters and having them jet-hot coated, costs about $300 in all, but the coating will make the headers last much longer than the factory coating or uncoated. If you are planning on keeping your truck a while, it's worth the extra money.
