I found a place online that sells pacesetter long tubes for 259-painted, 375-coated. I ordered the painted ones, their can't be too big of a difference. I am going to fabricate my y-pipe so it will work, the adapters I need are only 10 bucks vs. the new y pipe which is 150.

I think getting non coated headers are a mistake. They will rust bad, paint will just burn off first time you start it. Your engine bay temp will be a lot hotter. I've seen test done on headers coated , non coated, and ss. Coated headers actually make more power than the other two. I'm thinking it was 5-10 hp difference on a 400 hp motor. Don't take the cheap way out, save for some coated. good luck.
