Most people will say longtubes because they give you more horsepower/torque and they're not really expensive. I don't know if you care but some states do not allow longtubes because they change the location of the cats and O2 sensors. Good quality shortys (like JBA ) will give you a small increase in horsepower/torque and they are 50 state legal. The only downfall is I don't think they are worth the price you have to pay for them.

My coated Dynatechs will get you to that 500 mark! But you can't have them!
There are some mid lengths that I heard work almost as great as LT's but I forget who makes them.
I vote Dynatech LT's!!

I've had both, and definitely recommend LT's. Used to have Gibson shorties, they were basically cool looking exhaust manifolds that cost alot of green. I didn't even get the placebo effect after installing them . Now I have StainlessWorks LT's with the catted y-pipe, and the gains are noticeable according to my butt-o-meter .
