Im about to order my nelson tune but before i turn in my mods list, i want to order long tubes and maybe get a corvette servo. All i have right now is a K+N FIPK, no cats w/ magnaflow x-pipe w/ race bullets dumped and free mods. Im looking to order the set of long tubes asap! I was looking at the pacesetters ceramic coated but i was told the ASM's are also really good. Which would yall suggest for a 2001 RCSB 5.3? Would i be better off keeping my true dual setup with the long tubes or ordering a y-pipe? What other mods would be good to get done before my tune? let me know guys. thanks!!

get the pacesetters. although i love my asm's the pacesetters will save you some dough. you can leave the true dual on there. cia, headers, plugs, wires, fans. have him turn on the fans in the pcm for you for future electric fan install. that is a few.

I like the supermaxx header and the as&m's too but the pacesetters are having a GP on getonitracing.net and they are 300 shipped. The y-pipe is only an extra 75 if you want it with the kit. Im going to go with the pacesetters and save some cash for other mods. Can i just buy the pacesetter long tubes and have my true dual with magnaflow x somehow reworked to fit the headers. I like the dual setup better than the y-pipe so im hoping i can keep it.
