Default LM7 Question

I have an 07 LM7 that I am going to be putting into my 92 S10. I have a set of 853 heads that I am going to run instead of the stock 862's. I am also wanting to run an ASA cam. I hope to run N/A at around 350-375HP, and then shoot a 150 shot of nitrous after the drive train has a few miles on it. Eventually I want to put a P-1SC Procharger on and run between 7-10psi along with the nitrous on serious situations. I will be running a T56 (If I can find one), and I havent quite decided on the rear end situation yet. I am going to run the stock crank, Compstar 6.125 H-Beam forged rods and Wiseco -2.2cc flat top forged pistons, in the standard 3.780 bore.

I would like some insight on these ideas. Pros and cons are wanted!

Thanks

You be better off keeping the 862 then putting 853s on. If you going swap head find set of 243s and the asa cam is ok but there's betters out there or custom one.look up Texas speed everything you need there. These 5.3 are pretty damn strong. In stock form, i wouldnt forge it unless you was to run huge boost. If was mine i would do stock bottom-end with arp rod bolts ,p&p 243s ,tbss intake with 90mm tb and a tsp 220 on 114

Any reason why I am better off with the 5.3 heads when I eventually want to run boost anyway?

I'd keep the 862's and work them over. You get a better compression chamber at the cost of a smaller intake valve. A good machine shop can work wonders with an 862 head. The 243's flow better stock but I think the compression chambers are larger which means less compression.

So with eventually running 7-10psi, the higher compression wont be an issue?
