Default Lifters in NNBS

I have a NNBS with the 5.3 active fuel managment. I am kinna afraid of the * stock dod lifters and i am making plans on changing them. i found a set on summit they are GMPP and i was gonna make sure that these would work in the NNBS 5.3's

They would work but I dont think they're compatible with the AFM system. Also if you're going to get those lifters, get them from scoggin dickey parts center. Save about $20.

Stans for Active Fuel Management (shuts down 4 cyls at light engine loads). Oh and also WFO, for what it's worth you know the part number you put up there is for the LS7 lifters. I am putting the same lifters in my 6L build. They're a bit better than the standard truck lifters. Since you're in there you might as well upgrade to the new LS2 lifter trays and drill some half inch holes in the side to allow for quicker oil return. If you don't drill at least put new retainers in. All 4 shouldn't cost more than $30 and will make your lifters fit tigher (don't rotate) and also will stay up better should you do any future cam swaps.
