How many of you have lifter noise after swapping out the stock cam? (not the normal sewing machine sound)

I have this on my 01 and have not done any cam swaps. My 02 did not get any lifter noise after cam swap.

i dont know what noise my truck was making before the swap, that noise that sounds like tapping, but after the cam swap my truck dosent make anything but spring noise. dont know if it was a coinsidence or what. glad it dosent make it anymore though.

If you made a cam swap and upgraded the springs and pushrods, then the noise is coming from the valvetrain. Pretty standard with a cam/spring upgrade.

I've had lifter and other engine noises just about forever...after the cam swap I started listening too closely and thinking too much. All of a sudden these noises that were always there started bothering me and I started wondering "was it always this loud?". I should have been asking myself "do I always listen this closely?"...once I figured it out I started listening to the radio again.
