lifter chatter!!!???

Arrow lifter chatter!!!???

i have a 99 Z 5.3 and i have moderate lifter chatter when i first start my truck but even if i've been runnin it all day it still does it a lil... wut should i do to make it quit this nonsense

I wouldn't think the rocker bolts got a bit loose, but you could check the torque on 'em. Hope there's no bent p-rods causing extra slack.

Sounds like piston slap to me, might try seafoaming the engine first to see if that makes it go away, if not then go after the rockers

What kind of pennzoil did you use? Was it platinum?

No I thought you were going to rip the anti penzzoil guy. You know how there are people out there who blame sludge & other problems directly on a specific oil brand and whatnot. I've heard great things about PP.
