Default Lifted HD??

Hi All, A buddy of mine has a 03 2500HD and he wants to install a lift on it. He is concerned about ride considering he drives it about 70 miles a day. I have seen the 8inch Whiplash lift and I was wondering if there are any 4inch lifts out there considering that the 8inch puts the rear bumper too high to be legal in MD. Is there anyone out there that has a lift on there HD with any complaints or concerns? Any info and any pics would help. Thanks.

Hey Bigguy, thanks, that truck looks nice. Question for you though... How do you like your ride with the torsion bars cranked up? How much did you go up with it? Just looking for a little more clearance. What size tires are you running also? Thanks

I run the 6" TrailMaster lift on my HD. The ride is firmer than stock but I was also running about 55psi in each tire. I'm going to lower that to make it a little softer. Even with the firmer ride it's not bad for daily use.

I didnt feel much difference from stock.
It rose my truck about 1.5 inches in the front and i but a 2 inch add a leaf in the back.
i currently run 31 inch tires but could easily handly 33's
Another thing to think about is if you crank on the torsion bars it might slightly throw out the alignment. not as far as driving straight but slightly like this /--\ /=tires.
i never had my aligned and it showes no uneven wear so i might be wrong.
I thought it was worth it personally.. simple mod
