Default Lengthening MAF wires

can you do it without causing resistance (Ohms reading)issues with the MAF ??

I want to route a custom cold-air system that draws air from behind the bumper and I want to mount the filter on the MAF directly to show the coldest possible charge to the IAT....will this cause any problems other than during rainstorms (which we NEVER get...it's Death Valley)

I also want to do this for asthetic reasons....I know you all have seen the ghetto cold-air setup I am running now (it works but it is UGLY) so I am having all of the tubing custom bent out of 4" OD smoked acrylic and want to keep as few connections as possible visible (so far the total for visible connections is ZERO !!)....and in my opinion the fewer connections the better where airflow is concerned
