xlr8nss i am interested in your headers i thought about doing the same thing but with a 3" collector because AS&M would not make me a coustom set. the only thing i did not like about the whole deal is i paid 760$ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> for the headers and then i would have to buy new collectors nothing big and i could do the work my self but then you have to have them recoated. you now have some expensive a** headers.
i will probably end up doing it any ways later on but would like to see how yours turned out.

I'll get some pics up sometime by the end of the week. I'm just painting mine with some high temp paint. The part you can see from the engine bay is still coated. You just have to grind the coating off where you weld the new collector on.

It's kinda nerve racking cutting into a brand new set of headers. Now I just need to make sure they fit, I think they will. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
