Default Leaving some tread on the ground...

Is there an easy "self mod" to let me be able to do brake stands? My car, even with traction control off cuts my throttle at 2000 ish rpm. It is quite aggervating. Thanks

Ben

Ah the dreaded effects of Torque Management. You either need LS1Edit or a Diablo to get rid of TM. My nod goes to Edit though. Getting a custom tune from Nelsons will get rid of it too.

Push the traction control button to turn off the traction control. There's not much you can do to really light up the tires on a Tahoe, the coil spring rear suspension provides much better traction than the pickup truck leaf springs.I've driven bone a stock G80 5.3 extended cab that has a lot worse traction problem than my supercharged Tahoe.

A YAnk TT3000 should do the trick! It did horrible things for traction for me.

The 2000rpm is probably just the factory stall. The engine is saying that's all I got.

With the extra weight on the back of an SUV, they're harder to get the tires to break loose.

Is your hoe a drive by wire(electonic throttle body control)? If so that is probably your problem. Custom programming is the only solution that I know of.

Drive by wire gives the PCM more control over engine RPM's. Thus it can close the butterfly if it wants to.
