I think the issues were more likely related to the 102mm TB than the intake itself. Did you ever try it with a 90mm TB?

i was listening into a conversation yesterday with mike at new era. he said he tunes a lotta trucks over in dubai that have a lot of troubles with the 102mm TB. basically the rpm that is set to **** at it goes so quick in 1st gear on the 6l80e since they are pushing high hp it tries to anticipate the shift and hits the rev limiter early. what he said was after time of the 102mm hitting the limiter weakens the motor on the tb and it wont stay open.

not sure if that helps or not but figured id post it up just so you can read it.

I'd think it be worth the effort to try it out. You're probably giving up 40 rwhp going back to the stock setup.

Driveability and Tune ability, any difference between the 92mm Edelbrock or FAST 92mm?

I have a FAST LSXrt with a FAST 92mm TB. I switched cams from a 111 LSA to a 114 LSA and it now idles at 700rpm with no issue.
