Default Latest & Greatest Exhaust

Yesterday I have my exhaust system reworked and its cherry now. Before I had true duals coming off of my short tube headers, not cats, into two 17in. glasspacks. Talking about effin loud. I hadn''t want to switch it up again since I had lost power and throttle doing the true duals and either wanted to put an H pipe in *or* else a dual in/out muffler in place of the g-packs. Until I realized why not go back to a single 3in. pipe like factory. So its now a Y pipe into a 3in. pipe like mentioned into a used AERO EXHAUST muffler and into a Y pipe again into my duals and tips out back. And for the muffler, Y pipe, and 3in. pipe he did all for my 3mo. old 17in. glasspacks. Traded the work and everything straight across. One heck of a deal I must say. Especially for a muffer that runs for $190 new! He''s done work for me before and is a reasonable guy who does pretty good exhaust work.

Otherwise I think its sounds friggin awesome. 50 times better than the damn glasspacks. I liked the loudness of them but the crackle and noise was annoying and sickening most of the time. Now it still crackles some, but it is very, very deep and it crackles around 2500 RPM. Another thing I like best is it doesn''t crackle when you floor it, wide open throttle. It reminds me of my buddies Dodge 5.7 Hemi with his Flowmaster. I got two small clips also and will get a better driving clip out of the cab later on.

Cold Startup (Not sure why my left tip bounced for a little bit there)

Nice. I know a few with that muffler on their Diesels and they like it a lot. I havent seen it on a gas motor yet until now.

Worst part about this new system is its got a terribile in-cab drone when driving down the road at high speeds.
