lakewood traction bars

Default lakewood traction bars

Is anyone using lakewood traction bars in their trucks? If so can you tell me how they work and what part # they are. Supposedly jegs said i need part # 22026.

they make two several different models. they have the universal bars (like i have) and then a model specific for our trucks. the only difference is the ones for our trucks are made for the axle under the leaf spring instead of axle over the leafs.

i got the universal ones from autozone for $40. i just used longer u-bolts to install them. they got rid of my wheel hop but i can still spin pretty good. of course i have 235/75/16 goodyears and an open diff.

if yur truck is lowered more than 2" in the rear you might run into clearance problems.
