Default Ladder or Traction Bars?

The other day at the track I got to talking with some of the guys with all out drag cars. They said that with our truck's leaf springs, ladder bars would be a better choice over traction bars. I've never used either so I couldn't give an opinion. They mentioned that traction bars, for the most, just stop wheel hop and that ladder bars would allow for straighter and harder launches. Has anyone ever tried ladder bars?

well if you think about it a traction bar to me makes the spring stiffer. there fore less weight transfer but no wheel hop. were as a latter bar wil let the spring spring at the same rate but not let exle wrap.

i think a truck would hook prety good with ladders, stock leafs, tires and some weight reduction/transfer.

hell there are slapper bar cars running impressive times

I don't think anyone makes them specifically for our truck. I think they are mostly just universal kits.
