Default L92 6.2 possible noise, let's play a game...

My 6.2 in my 08 Yukon Denali sounds different than the old 2002 5.3 I know. I can't tell if its making a bad or normal noise. A Mr wolftrk69 casted his vote already.

Let's play a game. What do y'all think it is if anything. Kind of a rhythmic grind/rumble noise.

As instructed I will pull the belt this weekend to see if it goes away. If not I'll use mech stethoscope to pinpoint.

Here is the vid. Place your bets!!

Idler pulley and both tensioners had crunchy bearings. The engine is a bit quieter now. Still makes noises my gen 3 5.3 never made, but I should expect that.
