Default Kudos to STS

I feel like a kid in a candy store. The turbo has exceeded all my expectations. I thought 350-360 rwhp was optimistic. Man was I wrong. My 1st time to the track netted a 100 mph pass. The et was only 14.04 due to lack of traction. Note street tires and a turbo do not make for good traction. According to vehicle weight and trap speed my rwhp was 374. Not to shabby for 5 psi. After gutting the cats and some tuning, thanks to Cablebandit, the truck trapped 103. Plugging this et into the formula yielded a hair over 400 rwhp. I now have wideband installed. There may be a few more ponies left in it. We will see in the next week or two. Then the boost will be increased to 8 psi. If anyone is considering An STS kit. Don't hesitate you will be happy with your results. A big thank you goes out to Billy at TRT Turbo for giving me a great deal on the kit.

Hey quicksilverado, I see you're in Marietta. I'd love to meet up some time and see that setup in person. I don't know of anyone around here with an STS on a car or truck.

A bit more tweaking at 5 lbs and then the boost is going up.

I'm not sure I'm happy with STS. The never warned me of the fact that I now have so much power, my stock 4L65 feels like a CVT transmission (slippy slippy!!).
