Default KR problem!

I just scanned my truck and it shows that right after my truck shifts into second gear that it has 7 deg. of KR which I know is not good. I have checked for noises and I cant find anything wrong. Any help would be great. Thanks, Brad

Are you still useing the 00 PCM? If so, Switch to an 02 PCM and this will solve the kr issue. 99-00 PCM's are known for false knock issues.

Do you hear any detonation? I know my 98 Z28 used to get false knock due to loud as hell exhaust. Do like he said and run some good gas and I know some tuners desensitize them which is a no no.

Thanks for the replys, I do not think it is the gas because I only use Marathon 93 octane. I am thinking the problem is the pcm, I am in the process of getting a Brand New 2002 pcm and hopefully that will fix my problems.

The only problem I had is the flashing battery light and dtc code "Generator Terminal F circuit". But your tuner can diable this code. or you can do this https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ight=generator
