Can't speak to Kooks, but ARH are the best I've used (obx, pacesetter, dynatech, arh). The price reflects that though.

You are correct about you get what you pay for. Often, it is what you can't see from the outside:

Those kooks don't look like I would have imagined.

For anyone that has done an ARH install on a NNBS GM: Did you need to use an extension harness for the O2 sensors?

I am not sure what you are referring about. If you are talking about the scavenger spike, the base is the same given the same diameter tubing. The only variable would be the length of the spike. However, I think your picture is the old style Kooks collector before they went to the tight pinch style like the ARH. See picture:

In my opinion, both ARH and Kooks are top line. Like I said before, I went with ARH because of superior customer service.

No extensions required for any of the four O2 sensors.

Another reason why I decided on ARH is that two weeks ago I called Kooks, was put into a voice message system and to this day never got a call back

...

A no call is usually an individual or business that doesn't get my business. In an extreme example, I'll call up to 3x if I feel strongly on a given brand's product. That's it, & rare; I usu. stop after 1 no call.

Those headers on that clean engine look so purdy. Pure sex!

You've used everyone 1 of those? I find that hard to believe. Not including Y-pipes, say $400 ea for OBX & PS, $800-1200 for Dynas & then finally some ARH @ what $1200-1600. So, u spent ~$3K on various hdrs? Then add in ~$400 for a Y-pipe from someone.

Kemble, to be fair, while those Kooks don't look like u would have imagined, not really a superb pic of ther overall header either.

Interesting side-side shot on old vs new style Kooks.
