Default Knocking..not sounding good..

Got my tune back from jesse saturday and all has been well since. Yesterday i got home from work and was getting ready for the gym. Took about 30 minutes. Also i bought a drop in KN filter so i threw that in real quick.

Upon startup i heard this knocking noise. Gave it a couple revs and something is just not right. So i drive to the gym listening for any abnormal noises...nothing. When i park i give it a few revs and nothing.
So we come out of the gym and its back when i start it..sounds worse at idle just kinda knocking. Same scenario..drive it home no more noise. Seems the longer it sits the worse it is. So im leaving my ol ladys house this morning and somehow i thought it would go away...but it didnt. To me it sounds like something bad. Its not detonation. I tried a quick video this morn...gives you an idea but does no justice to how bad this sounds. I need a direction so i can get this fixed. Fluid levels are fine. Any help appreciated...im trippin!

simple, toss the factory tune back in and see what it does. It could be a problem with the tune...or a problem uncovered by the tune...

That sounds horrible, and doesnt sound like piston slap, lifter, or detonation. Have you pulled the spark plugs? any smoke?

You gotta try and figure out exactly where it is coming from. Use a wooden broom handle or an automotive stethascope and figure out EXACTLY where the the noise is coming from. It sounds a lot different than my old truck, that was a lifter issue. Yours sounds kinda sparatic. Check all your plug wires too. it sound to me like a misfire. Are you getting any codes?

Ya it sounds horrible. It gets much louder than that video shows. Swapped computers. No change. No codes. Truck still runs strong with no lack of power anywhere. I did a little troubleshooting yesterday and i swear its coming from the exhaust. Used a big screwdriver to the cats and it sounds more from them. Gave a quick check of the plugs none were loose. Havent pulled any but its running fine besides the noise. Im gonna look more into the exhaust area to see if any of the shields are loose. But i loose ambition real quick when its 100 at 10am!

Thanks Guys!

I have heard alot about these engine having carbon knock. But that is when you first start it up and it goes away after. Good Luck.
