Default Knock sensor replacement

How do you get the wires disconnected from the knock sensors? Is there a trick to it? I didn't want to mess up the wire trying to get the plug off. I've had a rough spell with my truck after a day of muddin a couple months ago. Here is a picture for your enjoyment. I promise they're under there somewhere.

you pull off the black rubber plug first, then you can remove the wiring ends themselves. they are oblonged shaped, you squeeze the "long" sides together a little and pull. they are the same as the old sbc knock sensor plugs.

Damn, If the underneath of the intake manifold looked like that. Have to wonder what the rest of it looked like.

Holy **** is right! I'd sell my truck, after I cleaned it, if it ever got that dirty.
