Ok I have a question for anyone that is running a kenne bell. For some reason, my truck seems like a dog below 3K RPM. I am running 6.5psi right now. I dont know it just seems like it comes off the line like ****, and really doesnt seem to pull any harder then stock until 3k, this I dont understand being that a screw blower is known for building power down low. Any imput on this?

I know that some of it has to do with tuning, I was just doing some logging on HPTuners. But somthing else seems off as well.

I'm running a whipple (which is very similar) and don't have any problems down low. I don't see full boost until around 3k. That may be what you are feeling.

No, It pulls like it did stock below 3k. I build about 5.5psi by 2000 then 6.5 at 2600 or so.

is it hot out where you live right now? Have you noticed a difference in performance from cool weather to hot?

For the last 4 or so months it has been in the high 80's to mid 90's. And yes I notice a big difference between hot and cool days. It would be nice if KB would get there intercooler finished up!

thats what I was thinking. Funny thing about the twin screw design, as good as it is, it's most inefficient when not under boost, or, any non boost condition, like idling, so it makes sense to me that sitting there idling it is heating up and becoming less efficient up until some point that enough boost is being generated to overcome this conditon, or as you say 3,000 rpm.

Of course that may not be the whole story, i.e. tuning and whatnot, just thought I'd offer that to you.

Besides the heat, those heavy wheels arent helping you any down low either.
