Yes stock gm planetaries are good. Get the five pinion planetaries. They are good aftermarket ones have inferior metal in them the factory ones are made out of powdered metal. PM if you have any ?'s about how to build it strong. Mine is a 60e but been upgraded to a 65e.

wasnt cause I messed with it....
and didnt you take yours there too? LOL
Guess we live and learn from the chit that happens dont we?
I tell you what, if I where some of these guys on here I would go ahead and bite the bullit, and go get my transmission built to hold up, instead of waiting till it goes out..
that really sucks big time when it goes out, specially if it wasnt limping already. Nothing worse than hearing something break under the truck..
trust me.. (excpet maybe the motor going out!!!)
(nothing ment bad here Kevin, you where heading to go fix it )

Damn, got me worried about installing the roll pan now Lance. lol.

I think you even told Kevin that he would start breaking stuff now that your parts are his.

Sucks Kevin, but at least now you'll get a bigger verter and hopefully the 65 will last ya for a while. Who's building it for ya and how much? Might be beneficial to know. I'm hoping mine lasts a while longer, but kinda nervous now that I am getting my ET Streets.
