I just finished installing a comp XR265HR (212/218 .522/.529) in my truck this weekend. It has a pretty good lope and chop at idle (stock 500 rpm), a lot more than I expected, and I love it. But it doesn't feel as quick as it should be, I don't have headers yet so maybe the manifolds are holding it back. Also could my predator program be hindering it as well. I am thinking of getting a set of ASM headers.

Call Predator and discuss the cam profile with them and maybe they do a custom tune for you. And yes, the stock manifolds are ok, but headers would be better. Congrats on the cam. What is the LSA?

Heres specs from the cam card
Valve timing at .006
Int: 21 BTDC 64 ABDC
Exh: 72 BBOC 19 ATOC
112 Intake center line
Duration at .050 212/218
Lobe lift .3070 /.3110
Lobe Separation 114
It was worth it just to get the killer idle, Its also a lot louder than stock, with a totaly different sound.

Get some miles on it then report back. I'd like to know how throttle response is, how the normal low end is, how does it feel coming from a stop, etc... It seems a cam in a small truck or a car feels differently than in a larger heavy truck.

I having a hard time telling if the lowend is
better or worse, because the exhaust sound is so much different. It either gained a bit of lowend or the loss is very slight. The tires brake loose in first gear easier now. And it is as good or better on hills, but it's hard to tell unloaded. I'll see what happens when I hook up to the boat, and take it up north this summer (mostly up hill). By far the best thing about the cam is the idle, you gotta love a lope, I am getting a mutiple cyliner missfire code, but it doesn't turn the light on.
I live a little north west of brantford.

I am starting to get a handle on the power changes. I lost a little bit of power below 2000 rpm, when cruising in the 1300-1700 range it seems to hold its speed, up small hills, but it dosn't want to accelerate much without kicking it down or unlocking the convertor. Off the line you can't feel any loss in power it is much quicker. Around 2200-2300 rpm is when the cam starts pulling. Right now I am tring to tune the fuel and spark with my predator, what should my o2 voltage be at for WOT.
