Default Just got an L92 truck could use some help with what to do performance wise

Just got an '11 L92 Extended cab and I was hoping I could get some help. I've already got an intake that's a given. I don't know what to do with the exhaust I feel like I could put together a nice set up by deleting the resonator in front of the muffler, a new muffler then just a dump from there. Or, maybe even deleting the muffler all the way, I don't know how all this is gonna sound or what affect its going to have performance wise.

There's a ton of tuners out there so I'm wondering do I go get a black bear tune, get an hp tuner so I can continue to tune as I add stuff, or is a programmer gonna do the job just fine. If were talkin 5-10 hp then maybe it just makes sense to get the programmer.

What else can I do that's not too major? I'm open to just about anything probably want to stay away from nitrous, just looking for anything I can do to go faster.

Any input or ideas is very much appreciated.

Oh it's a max trailer so it's already got 3.73's

Thanks Again.

As far as the exhaust goes, youre only going to be changing it for sound there isnt much performance to be gained from it. If you do decide to go for a different exhaust Id be interested in buying it off of you.

As far as tuning goes, do not waste your money on programmers. Any of the tuning sponsors to the right can hook you up with a very nice custom tune that will make a big difference in how it drives. Intakes arent really worth the money, putting a nice drop in filter and cutting the bottom of the airbox out will net about the same result for cheap.

Id do a tune, filter, headers and exhaust if youre wanting a different sound. Thats about it for easy mods, the next step would be forced induction and/or a cam. Tunes and an exhaust system will take you a long way with these 6.2 trucks. Theyre damn stout and seem to drive great. The only other thing you could do is a higher rpm stall converter but that is only going to help you from a stop.

What do you plan on using your truck for?

All the info you could ever need on modding your truck can be found on this site, welcome, your addiciton has just begun

Hey atleast I was honest and told him he wouldnt gain anythign but sound. These suckers are hard to find so I jump at any chance I get. Im tired of my stock choking catback but I dont want a loud *** exhaust for my little guy.

Do you think the sig is obvious enough?

Thanks for the input much appreciated. How much would you be interested in buying it for? That may help me make my decision because what you said about the intake makes sense so that frees up some money as well.
