Default Just got exhaust!

I know most people put down the flowmasters, but i heard them on the guys truck at the exhaust shop i went to and loved them. Got true duals, 3" all the way back to 2 original 40series mufflers, to 4" side exit tips. Looks the ***** and i love the sound, deep, mean and no rasp

Did you keep all of the cats and o2 sensors? I'm curious because I eventually want to go true dual. I like the sound of flowmaster also.

my 2500HD had dual all the way to the muffler, so yes i kept all cats and o2's. For 1500's it takes more fabrication.

I dont think many people put flowmasters down because of the sound. its the performance that sucks

the flow rates are crap on the 2 chambers and 3 chambers. It's just a proven fact. I have a flowmaster but I went with a 1 chamber. they are better then stock but their are alot better mufflers out their that flow alot better.

i agree, flowmasters suck. i have a single in dual out flowmaster with a radix. The exhaust was so restrictive that magnacharger had to change the pulley to a larger 3.6 inch to compensate for the restrictive exhaust system. They were seeing like 9 lbs of boost with the stock 3.4 inch pulley due to the exhaust. I'm going with a stainless steel magnaflow now, 3" in and 3" out to solve my problems.

Let us know what you gain with the magnaflow muffler. I have been using flowmaster mufflers on some fast muscle cars for years, and engine dynoed with and without exhaust. A few months ago we dynoed a BBC 632 with Dart Big Chief heads for a N/PRO Street car, the engine made 1297hp open headers and 1285hp through the flowmaster exhaust system off the car! The car hold the record in the class at 7.59@181mph in the 1/4 mile and it weights 3300 lbs.
