Just got an 01 Tahoe!!!
Im pretty happy, just bought an 01 Tahoe with the 5.3L and im anxious to start modding. Im not lookin for a race truck or anything, but im thinking about exhaust, intake, computer tuning and lowering it. My question is, how do you lower one of these things? Its 2 wheel drive btw. Ive found rear drop coils, but nothing for the front.. do you lower it through the torsion bars? Or what... Let me know what you guys think as far as what i should buy, and where to get the best prices! I even started looking into a powerdyne supercharger, but i think thats a little far off for now... Wooo, im just still excited! We're an all chevy family now, In front of my house are as follows... 01 S-10 Xtreme, 99 Camaro SS, 01 Tahoe, 67 Chevelle, 99 Chevy Metro, 69 Camaro.. damn.. 4 of em are black... nicely matched i think.

Re: Just got an 01 Tahoe!!!
Belltech has a 2-3 drop kit w/ a new torsion key for the front and drop coils w/ retaining straps for the back. New shocks all around.
DJM has a kit w/ new lower A-arms for the front and coils for the back.
There is a third company w/ a kit but the name escapes me right now.
Hotchkis has a big F/R sway bar kit and rear lower control arms kit. They also offer rear leveling coils for Suburbans w/ the Tahoe springs coming soon.
