Default Just bought sierra 1500 ... 1st mods?

I went w/ the 5.3 (Quadrasteer too!) and Im looking for the basic novice mods to increase power and /or fuel efficiency.... this is my daily driver and i will drive 50k per year. Whats opinions and options are out there and recommended?

custom tune should be high on your list. top 2 tuners seem to be Nelson's and Wester's

cold air intake, plugs, wires, magnaflow exhaust and asp underdrive pulley all help with power increase and some economy. for a little more economy look into ls1 electric fans. there are a lot more mods to do but these are pretty much the basics and relatively easy to install.

Hello J. 50K a year? Well, I'd get teh exhaust opened up a little eith a Magnaflow muffler. Pick out a good cold air intake. Then get another VIN added to your LS1 Edit cable if possible or HPTuners.

Thanks all! Had an argument w/ the GMC guy on delivery and told him to Jump... I dont play dat added fee crap. Ended up with the same exact truck in a Chevy and saved 800 bucks. Oh well, all the same applies. Thanks for the replies so far.
