On Saturday, my wife and I purchased a 99 Chevy Silverado Z71 extended cab. It replaced our crusty little 91 Mercury Tracer. It's been a long time since I've owned a Chevy (84 Z28), but I really like this one! The Vortech 5.3 really impressed me. Now I understand why these GM trucks would always try to race my cars! It snowed recently so we decided to "test" the 4 wheel drive, it's great! The dealership we bought it from is going to detail it this week since it was slushy and dirty when we bought it. Now they'll have more fun with all the mud!!!! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

These LS1-based truck motors are badass. They share the same design as the f-bodies and corvettes, and many of the parts are interchangeable.
