Default Its finally been done.......

So I went to truck nationals today at NED and ran a 11.80. It was cold and the track was sticky. I just got my new et streets mounted yesterday and they helped!!!! First run right off of the street (well after i changed the tires) I went 12.0 @ 117mph with a 1.94 60'. That was on 15# of boost and with 18# of air in the tires. Next run 16# of boost and with 16# of air in the tires I went 11.9 @ 117.6mph. Then after letting it cool down and turning the boost to 17# and lowerin the air 15# I went 11.8 @118.93mph with a 1.89 60'. After that I went 12.0 a couple of times and one more 11.9. then i fryed plug and didnt have anymore with me so my day was over But I am happy. So now it is true. There is hope for the 4.8l after all.

So how much more is left in it? I know it forged and all that I would think that you could squeeze some more out of it. Still runnin pretty good. Hell of alot better than my truck right now.

I know that i can run 18# of boost. I should be able to pull a 1.7 60'. And when my boost controller broke i ran 20+# of boost for a day. So i think there is still some good power in it. And they when we step up to a 76mm turbo, i will just spray it out of the hole
