Default It's this a deal on a lq4?

hey everyone they are selling me a lq4 for $900 is has new bearings,new metals,nitrous forged piston rings currently i have a 4.8 with a true trac 4:11 shift kit servo and cai what will be the diffrence if a put a lq4 how much more hp will i get out of the things i have anyone knows need some help and it this a deal on the lq4 is just a shortblock thanks......

It will be a big difference going from a 4.8L to a 6L after you get a good custom tune for the 6L.

The 6.0 will have a lot more TQ and the HP will be quite a bit more as well, it will be no comparison lol.

You're pissin in the wind putting the 4.8 heads on there. You need atleast a set of 317 or 243 heads. I have a complete set of 317 heads that are freshly surfaced. Pm me if interested

I have seen ppl that say that 4.8 work good just want to put them on then later on buy me some 243 but does some one now aound what number i am going to put

Stock lq4 with stock 4.8 heads and a PCM tune, maybe 300-320 at the wheels??

Yeaah maybe i get around those number i put down 256whp on my 4.8 dyno tune
