i know i should got out and spend $300 on an LS6 intake... but.... im far too cheap for that and broke lol

what about an LS1 intake, ive got one i can pick up very cheap but is it even worth the work???

Or is there any difference in the 5.3/6.0 intake???

dont wase ur time with the ls1 intake, go to a junkyard and look for the intake off of a NNBS truck, they are 87mm and better than what you have now

LS1 flows less than the truck intake, and many members here haven proven little to no gains with the LS6 intake (go look for an old TXSilverado thread about the LS6 intake. If you want to see gains, you want a TBSS/LS2 intake and the rest of the goodies to make it work.

The hot lick now is the TBSS or NNBS intake. From the looks of things, it does just as well as the 6 intake, it is far less modding you have to do to get it to fit on the truck.. Not to mention they are about 200+ cheaper

You either need to get aftermarket fuel rails so that you can set it up for the return style(since they are (returnless) or use a corvette fuel rail, FPR which has it built in(return feed) Or take your stock truck fuel rails, lengthen the cross over or cut the old one off, and make a new cross over using a longer line( stainless braided) Then you will need a 90mm TB with the X link, since the 90mm uses a diff plug style.. Prob a little I am leaving out but it is the jist of it.
