Intake swap?

Im in the process of building an iron block 5.7l (5.3l bored to 5.7l) and im gonna get some 243 heads and was wanting to put the newer style NNBS intake manifold on so i can make good torque, but i was wondering what all i need to change to make it work? i have a manual throttle body and id like to keep it instead of the electronic one if that's possible, i couldn't find a swap thread or anything so i was just seeing what you guys would know. i found a new intake for $100 so ill prob get it, but what do i do about the fuel rail, injectors, vacuum lines? also is there a manual throttle body that's over sized that will fit the newer intake? any help would be useful.
Thanks, Blake

I just put an 08 intake which came complete with fuel rail on my 2004 5.3 which I have as cable driven in my 1992 chevy pickup. I already had a ported throttle body for the old intake so I bought the fast adapter plate $42. With the 08 intake the map sensor was plug and play. I swapped my 8.1 injectors over. You will need to modify your throttle bracket to fit the new intake. I also had to drill a hole in my intake tube to hook passenger side valve cover hose so it was getting fresh air. I plugged egr since I don't have that. I already had a return style fuel rail so I was plug and play. I had to do some tuning afterwards because the intake brings in more air. \

Here is a thread on the swap https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...9-02-a-459296/
