Default Intake suggestions

Looking for a CAI for my buddies '01 6.0 yukon. Its been a long time since i have played in the LS world so I have no idea whats new on the market.

Can anyone throw me some suggestions?

They all do pretty much the same thing, from the more expensive Volant to the cheaper ebay ones...I do like my Volant though. It keeps the hot underhood air out and is nice to look at too. I have the optional ram air tube also.

It just blows my mind how much they want for a decent intake. 300+ for anything worth looking at.

For a decent, lower cost intake the 1 from Spectre is pretty nice. The last time I looked they were about $140 on the Jegs website (p/n 9900).

doesn't AutoZone carry Spectre now? i think i saw it there last time i was in

I might just spend the cash for a name brand. I dont think i can bring myself to ghetto out my rig.

spectre looks and performs just like the AEM bruteforce so how is that ghetto rig?

Was in my local Pep Boys today & they had this exact intake, on the shelf, for $119.99. Looked nice.
