Default intake set up

well guys im very happy with my truck its a rcsb lq9 with ported heads(317) full bolt ons. ran a 12.39 at108.68 with a 1.74 60ft. now 4 the ??????????????? it still has the stock truck intake. do u guys see it benifisual 2 go l92/l76 on heads and intake. dont want to lose any where in the tq or hp. let me know ur thoughts? thank u

yes i think you would gain alot with those big l92 valves.But you would need a cam to match the new intake and heads. i wish i had the cash for the swap.let me know if you want to sell those 317s

really thats tite. i ran there in august. it was really fun and i think i might be going up there this friday are u gna b out there? and is those heads going to affect your trucks ability to pass smog/ visual inspection??

YES!! Thats what I'm talking about! **** smog laws! Well,.. just makes you do some serious "spring cleaning" every two years. Totally worth the smack downs tho.

RickLowpez_ Dude, I think I met you out at famoso on open test and tune before march meet. You truck is cammed right?Good Times!

you would definitely gain by going to those heads and intake... what cam/converter combo you currently running??? ?

the next test and tune is in a week and a half away on friday nite 6pm. yup think i remember u truck c u there.as 4 the set up rcsb 06 lq9,cam?,3600 stall,410,tune,headers,pulley,intake,ithink thats it

well i mean c.a.r.b. how are you getting around that? and heck yes jaegcm99 im down. ya prolly get me with those 4.11's not to mention the 5.3... but anyways there isnt a test&tune this friday? but my truck was actin up really bad today i think i may need to have my tranny flushed bkuz i was at a stop light and i went to go and it just revved to like 2 grand and then slammed into gear and then drove fine the rest of the way home. and do you have a big white sticker on the back of your truck?
