Intake Manif
Thinking about swapping out my
truck int for a LS3 int, pros and cons
on this swap ? plenty of low end, I could
use some more top end. cam is good to
6800 rpm. 2800 stall. 4100 lbs.

Pick what you want then. The car intake won't be there down low like the truck intake already is. It should out perform the truck intake above that 6,000rpm though.
When all your daily driving is way below redline and in that 1,500-5,000rpms everyday, I'd take the truck intake anyday when the application is a truck.

for me it would depend on how the truck launches with what you have right now, if your 60ft's suck and cant get any traction down low it might be worth giving up a little low end torque down low for some top end
it would also depend on where your using your power? you tracking the truck? stop light runs? freeway grudge runs?
if looking for the top end to be used late nights down in mexico is probably worth it for you to swap

With the truck being light it launch's bad, even with
decent tires and Cal-Trac's. it just smokes the tires.
even from a roll. I don't track the truck a lot, I do
a little street racing, It's a real sleeper. I tell then
it's a cammed 4.8. Hahaha. I guess i could have my
tuner re adj my VVT to shift the power band and
keep the truck int. cam is 1500-6600
