Is it ok to use the same intake gaskets again or replace them with new ones, i got a messed up knock sensor and just wondering if its better to use new ones or just keep the same ones

 

go new, hate to have to do it twice to save a couple bucks

i have reused mine many times.

 

so if they are in good condition it be ok to use them again?

 

the only time i ever replaced mine was when i was chaseing down i funny miss after a nitrous backfire. turned out to be a cracked intake and not the gasket.

if you look at it and dont see anything wrong with it then i wouldn't waste the money on a new one. same goes for the pan and valve covers and front cover and water pump.

the water pump gaskets do seem to not always come off nice and i have swaped them a few times just because they didn't look great.
