Default intake

ok, so I have an aftermarket cowl (whatever its called) and it has a working vent. I am wondering if it is possible to make a custom intake system that would use this vent. Run the tubing twards the back of the truck, have it meet flush with the hood when closed and have a filter that sets in the intake. Think its possible? Will i have any issues? Water? anyone have anything similar?

Thats a low pressure area and you wouldnt have enough air intake for the truck to run right. Its more for appearance and to reduce underhood temps.
