Default Installing Rod bolts in 5.3

At 80 bucks i think some rod bolts are cheap insurance considering im shifting at 6600rpms now. How hard is it to install rod bolts with motor in truck? Im a mechanic so Im confident I can can do the job, just wondering about any trouble i may run into.

If it's 2wd, drop the crossmember in the front, drop the oil pan, and there ya go. If it's 4wd, plan on yanking the motor.

nope, the rods are threaded and the bolt just goes thru the cap and into the rod.

What bolts are you using? I have been thinking about doing the same thing for way to long. And this thread just reminded me.
