I'm putting the LS7 lifters in my engine, Is there a certain way that the oil hole has to go? Also what is the recommended preload?

 

Pretty sure the oil hole direction doesn't matter, because when I pulled the lifters out of my 5.3 the holes were facing in either direction. But, I believe they get oiled from the top, so if you want you can make all the oil holes face up.

Thanx for that thread Beatdown, The lifter guides won't allow the lifter hole to be put up or down, so it either goes left or right
