ok, i got the headers today and i'm about to start putting them on. will it be ok to run open headers to work tomorrow then to the exhaust shop after that....maybe 30 miles total. i don't think it should hurt anything if i just take it easy on the turd. second should i use paper gaskets or the stock ones and should i put antiseeze on the bolts or just put them in?

The stock gaskets are reuseable so that is what I did when I installed mine. I also used antiseize on the bolts.
BTW... How did you get a set of Hamms? Are they used? I thought he quit making them when he and John Finnel split up.

i bought them from bigtex....i finished around 1030 and damn is it loud, sounds cool though. going tomorrow to get a new flange welded on with cutouts behind the headers and then the bullets ran out the side like it was before. i changed the plugs also...i can definatly feel the extra power from the new headers. i am getting an ABS light now though...what's up with that?

Good deal. I am sure you will like them. I have been pleased with mine. I can imagine it is loud. I was lucky when my exhaust guy let me install mine at his shop then he imediately ran the new exhaust when I was done so I didnt get to hear mine with the open headers.
As for your ABS light with a header change... ?????

Check your ABS wires from the hubs. Follow them up to the wireing harness. You could have nicked one of them during the install. This happend to me on my last truck when I had an alignment done. The tech nailed a wire with the air rachet.
