Default Installing A/F guage, need O2 wiring help

I got a narrow band 02 sensor (autometer) and would like to install it on either one of my front 02 sensors (before the cats) I have had some error codes thrown saying it is running lean and I want to see if I can see where

my question is: the guage needs to be hooked up to the 02 sensor HIGH SIGNAL wire, what color is that on the front 02's? are they a 3 or 4 wire?

thanks

because I already have 2 working 02's on there...that would be redundant and expensive, also its only a narrow band guage so I'm not going to spend money

someone has to know what wire to use??????/

I used one of these and it worked well, I am sure someone knows the color though if you don't want to spend anymore money.

I havent done many mods so a wide would be too $$$ to justify, I got the narrowband guage for $25 and planned on using the stock sensors

That totally makes sense!!! But are you planning on doing more in the long run??? If you are then you might as well go with the wideband now and save yourself the hassel of resaling the narrow!!! Not trying to bash your idea though, just want to give you something more to think about. The wide band will take care of everything you need and be ready for when you upgrade...that is if you decide to go further!!

got it installed, only cost me 28 bucks total, it works ok...its really jumpy and not really telling me what I want, I dont know why my truck runs lean and throws a code because under hard acceleration the guage is pegged at rich....either way its worthless for pretty much anything besides rice lights on the dash....oh well, live an learn
