Alright, just got back from the exhaust shop and had the single chamber flow welded on with a dump. Sounds good as hell, really really deep with a louder 40 series sound up top. Im still not really feeling anything SOTP though....even though it is noticeably better than straight pipe. It still powerbrakes about the same.....but now my tires make a higher pitched squeeling noise instead of the old low groaning noise they made. Dunno, maybe there spinning faster and it just doen't seem like it, or it could be all the spinning i been doing and the tires just wearing down I guess it was worth it.....i can say i have headers now.......lol. But i will comment that i do feel a little harder pull up top than it did before......with that i guess it paid off. Even though i was looking for bottom end torque. Guess im gonna have to rely on a Yank converter to give me that.

Your truck is probablly running a bit richer now than it was before the headers. Hook up your Predator and check you ltrims at pt and o2's at wot. Then you can try to lean it out some, if that is the case, and get some power out of those headers.

I'll look into that after i get back from Savannah.....although i will say one thing. I dont know what happened.....if maybe the computer needed time to adjust for the headers or what. But on my way home tonight a little turdy Ranger was messin with me and he came around from tailgating me and started to pass me right after we took off from the redlight. I floored it and my truck downshifted into first and actually started turnin the 35's over....the SOB ran like a raped ape! Dusted the **** outta the Ranger and even my g/f said......what'd ya do to your truck, it seems a little faster

No BS either....dont know what the hell happened but my truck never done that before since i've lifted it. And why did it choose to do it after driving about 150 miles since doing the headers? Especially after running like total crap for so long.

After a mod the computer has to adjust or relearn. This usually takes a bit of driving. Guess it did its job on the trip. Glad it finally mad a difference for you. Nothing worse than modding and not getting any results.

My truck seems to take up to 4 days to 'wake up' after I reset fuel trims or mod some fueling/air tables.

Glad it came around!

glad things are starting to look up for you....

Install was easy on my Dynatech system but I had to go back and swap out another pass.side header 5k miles later because of fitment issues (they sent me one free, which is great c.service), but the new header is still very close to the frame, and also my underhood temps skyrocketed after the headers went in (they were already 1200 bucks so I didn't feel like paying extra to ceramic coat them) - so in hindsight, I would have saved the money and used it towards a built trans. Although my thoughts on mods at that point was only "intake/full exhaust" - never knew I'd be slapping a Radix on a year later

Just got back from Savannah . I didnt get a change to check my ltrims or do any tuning but i think it is probably running a little rich because i lost about 2 mpg hwy and it really sucks gas in the city....and it smells a little rich. Im glad it woke up too, and it just wasn't a freak thing.....its been running like a scalded dog since then. I dont think the single chamber flow hurt anything, and i like the sound alot better than my quiet *** old Magnaflow setup. It sounds alot like my old 68 Camaro when i had 2 1/2" duals with 40 series flows and dumps on it....just without the nice bumpy cam

Also for some reason the engine temps are a little cooler now, i guess it's pulling more heat outta the combustion chamber with the headers? Im running about 180 deg. on the interstate with the stock thermostat and stock fan, where i use to run about 195 deg. I also noticed the motor is revving faster now at WOT. Over all im happy with it now.....and i would probably buy the TOG's again.
