Installed my Ebay CAI

Yesterday I got my "chromeintakes" Cold air intake for my 2001 Silverado.
Unwrapping everything, I was pleased to see the air "box" was steal and painted nicely black. It fit perfect in the factory air box bottom holes. The polished 4" tube looked nice also. It took me a little bit to figure out that I have to use the rubber piece and one clamp from the factory unit to attch my MAF. There was NO direction at all. Not even a single paper saying, hey, **** you, nothing. I installed it in about 30 minuts and only needed a flat head screwdriver and 1 - 10mm wrench. Piece of cake.
I havent got out and melted the tires off with all my new-found stupid high RWHMF'NP or nothing but Logically im sure it did help out a little. By removing the metal bottom on the fender well it makes your engine draw air from under which would be much cooler than inside the factory airbox.
Overall Im happy with my $90 Cold air intake.

In the pictures I have the foam installed as the online pic showed but it dont fit tight at all there so I used it to go under the tube where it passes thru the box. seal it off nicely and supports the tube tighter.
