Default Installed headers and now I need to make the truck quieter

I have Speed Engineering LTs and a Corsa catback. The local muffler shop added 1 high flow cat just in front of the catback (couldnt fit a cat behind each header).

I understand headers make the truck louder and this is the third vehicle i've added LT's on. But this truck is really loud. Like, scare small children loud.

What do you suggest to bring the noise down? I have another high flow cat sitting aroudn and am thinkin of having it installed behind the cat thats already installed. Any other suggestions?

What can i do about the 'ticking noise'? I understand the LT's are thinner than the cast manifolds and this is why the problem happens. I am wondering if there is a way to cut that noise down too? Would header wrap work?

Loose the corsa muffler and swap in a larger body magnaflow (18-24" case)

Or just add in some sort of bullet muffler designed to take the edge off the exhaust tone that the corse creates. Hacking up a corsa exhauat is a sin seeing as they are so expensive, but it will work.

I noticed the same thing when I installed mine. Holy LOUD....Not ready to do anything about it yet, but yeah. Definitely an insane difference in volume.

Any thoughts on header wrap toning down the engine noise i'm getting in the cab?

The header wrap quieted down the cab in my stroker turbo jeep when I did it. I have a solid lifter cam in it and the headers were quite loud. Of course thicker walled header tubes will run quieter. The wrap works well.

An ultra quiet resonator was my fix, took away all the rasp.

Was more money but I wanted the quality and known good reviews.

I had this same issue when I went from a 5.3 with stock manifolds to a 6.0 with long tube headers. The straight through Aero Turbine muffler I was running was way too loud and developed a bit of a drone which I cannot stand. Decided to go with a factory 6.2 muffler and am very happy with how the sound turned out when paired with the long tubes and ORY.
