Install notes for ASM Headers on a 6.0?
#2
well if it is like a 5.3 you cut the y, bolt on the headers and weld the y to the colector. prety easy. if you can't weld then you will need an exhaust shop for that. i just drove to the exhaust shop with open headers, that may not be a good idea in the winter though.
seems like the newer 6.0's have 4 cats and the ASM wont work if you need to keep them all(emision leagal)

No emissions here... (god bless Oklahoma!!)
Okay, no problem on the install then.... My last car was a 99 Hugger SS, and I have installed anywhere from FLP Longtubes, SLP's, MAcs, and Grots on the LS1 F-body, so these will be a sinch! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks for your reply!
