what size truck and motor. thats alot of cam! youll need ALOT more stall than that. im no cam guru but can say wont work with confidence....if you have a large displacement motor like a 408 its a different story

i agree with the other guys. the cam will work well, but you're going to need alot more stall than that.

That cam sounds good, your gunna need at least a 3000 stall, probably a 3200 just to be safe, I'm going with a cam just a tad bigger, specs are 232/234 .590/.585 113lsa, the guy that's grinding it for me said I may be able to get away with a 3000 stall, but it would be best to go with the 3200 just to be safe

its a big cam but it depends on what you want to do...

i have a 210/218 but im putting a 220/220 in shortly

Default Guys!!...

Those are some big-*** cams for a daily driver!!!! Bigger isnt always better when it comes to daily drivers!!! A 220 or 224 would be perfect, but its not my truck. Just a word of warning. Not trashin yall or nothin just dont go too wild for a dd, especially in a 5.3 or 4.8.

Any cam can be a good DD with a good tune, a guy on ls1tech has a way bigger cam I believe its 242/242 and he is still getting great gas mileage so he says, also mines is going in a LQ9
