Anyone else run into this with their setup? I have the 99 to 06 8 rib conversion with the 10% overdrive pulley and went to install a new A/C belt on today and low and behold the damn belt is a good 1/2" too long or maybe even more. The tensioner can't even tighten it.... just goes max travel and the belt is still loose. Measured the circumference of the stock truck pulley and the new Innovators and what do you know..... stock is 24.5" and the Innovator one is 24". I'm sure finding a custom length a/c belt will be barrels of fun. Yes they make lengths..... whether one is available on the continent is another question lol

 

Just download the gates vbelt catalog and search for a 4rib belt the length you need.

 

Oh I did that before I posted this and will see that these oddball belts I want to try are probably order only items lol. Would it really be that hard to actually match the OD of the stock pulley your are replacing? According to the website and I quote "Standard diameter and overdrive Dampers retain the stock sized a/c pulley.". Nope.... sorry guys... fail. I mean for $1100 you would think they could get that little detail right. I am assuming then that every single person that runs one of these has the same issue.
