injectors, and fuel system?

i am thinking about getting a higher pressure/flowing fuel pump, i am wondering what are the best injectors to run in the truck. and do we have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? and if we do how to turn it up and where is it? thanks guys.

install a air line into the tank to force the fuel down the lines.....also injectors off a 550 CAT. will give you the flow your loking for

You're waayyyyy ahead of yourself!!!!
With your mods, you're not making enough power to worry about high flow/high pressure fuel pump or new injectors.

i'm getting parts ready to go on all at once, i'm trying to get a 6.0 from a guy in Waco. and i just bought a set of stage II heads today from a guy i work with. he had them for his camaro but wrecked it before he installed them. and i will probably go with a stage II cam also.

If your only going with stage II heads and cam on a 6.0L I think the 8.1L injectors will be fine. They are rated at 30#'s and will be fine as long as you stay N/A.
If you go with nitrous on top of that then you should start worrying about upgrading your fuel system further. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

so, 30# injectors for the 6.0 with 4.080 bore, and 3.71 stroke, 6.125 rods will be sufficient. on the stock 5.3 fuel pump

Go here to check out how much power different size fuel injectors can handle.
http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET
I plugged in 30# injectors at 500 flyhp and came up with a 89% duty cycle which is not going to hurt anything.
They will be fine. The pump is something I'm not real sure about but there are guys putting down some real nice numbers with blowers and nitrous right now that are just using the stock pump(AFAIK).
I'm hoping to have my truck parked next week so I can take the fuel pump unit out and send it away to be modified with a high flow pump.
We'll see if that happens.

Everybody,
My stock fuel pump is really loud and annoying - are they all like that? A buddy of mine also said it's rumored that the fuel pumps tend to go out. Has anybody else heard such rumors?
Hiho - which fuel pump were you looking at getting?
Thanks,
Travis

i have heard that rumor also, my friend Quad of QuadZilla Performance in Fort Worth told me today that he has had several cases of this. he said most of the time he upgrades them, but i can't remember what he said he took them up to. i'll find out.
